How do I display one item in multiple places

You can add articles to multiple categories, provided they fall within the same management group.

Therefore, when choosing a category (while managing an item in siteCMS), only categories that fall within the same management group are displayed.

If you add an item to two categories that fall within the same management group, the item will be displayed in two places with one unique URL.
