Translating question blocks on your platform

Do you want to make question blocks on your website available in multiple languages? With SiteCMS, you can easily translate question blocks, making your questions accessible to your users in different languages. Follow the steps below to translate question blocks and specific parts of them.

 

Step 1: Add an extra language to your website

To translate question blocks, you first need to add an extra language to your website. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Click on Company Information.
  3. Go to Languages and add the desired language to your website.

 

Step 2: Translate a question block in the catalog

Now that the language is added, you can start translating question blocks. Follow these steps to convert the content of a specific question block to the desired language:

  1. Go to Matchmaker and select Question Blocks.
  2. Find the question block you want to translate.
  3. On the left, you will see the option Select Language. Click on it and choose the language you want to translate the question block into.
  4. Adjust the info of the question block in the chosen language.

 

Step 3: Don't forget to save the changes

When you have translated the content of the question block, click Save to record the translation. This way, the translated version of the question block becomes available on your website.

 

(Optional) Translate specific text lines within a question block

Do you only want to translate certain text lines within a question block? This is also possible in SiteCMS. Follow the steps below to translate specific sentences within a question block:

  1. Open the question block and select the text line you want to translate.
  2. Choose the desired language on the right side of the text box.
  3. Adjust the text line and click Save to save the translation.
