Automatic profile description
Profile description: At the top left of the profile page is the profile description. This description is dynamic and is automatically generated based on properties where the sentence structure is filled in. To do this, add questions to the about me group, in the usual way (SiteCMS> Matchmaker> Questions)
- Start of the sentence: Fill in the start of the sentence. Let's take an example question “What is your name”, and as an answer to the question we take “Henk”. In this case, we fill in “my name is” at the start of the sentence. The system places this before the answer the user has given to the question. On the profile, it will then display: My name is Henk.
- Separator: When multiple answers are possible to a question, you can use a separator. Let's take an example question “What are your hobbies”, and as an answer to the question we take “Sports” “cooking” and “reading”. As the start of the sentence, we now fill in “My hobbies are:”. As a separator, we now fill in a comma. The system will place this in the profile description as follows: My hobbies are: Sports, cooking, and reading. The system automatically converts the last separator into “and”.
- End of the sentence: The simplest version of the end of the sentence is a period. However, you can also continue the sentence after a property. Let's take an example question “What do you do in your free time”, and as an answer to the question we take “Cooking”. In this case, we can end the sentence with “I like to do in my free time”. The profile description will then read: Cooking I like to do in my free time.
You now know how to use sentence structure in profile questions. If you do not want to use sentence structure, leave these fields empty. You can now start generating an automatic profile description.
Tip: An open question can also be used in the profile description. For example, fill in the start of the sentence with “This is how I describe myself:”
