How can I translate a subscription?

Translating Subscriptions on Your Website

Do you want to make subscriptions on your website available in multiple languages? Making them understandable and accessible to an international audience. Follow the steps below to translate subscriptions and specific parts of them.

 

Step 1: Add an extra language to your website

To translate subscriptions, you first need to add an extra language to your website. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Click on Company Information.
  3. Go to Languages and add the desired language to your website.

 

Step 2: Translate a subscription in the catalog

Now that the language has been added, you can start translating subscriptions. Follow these steps to convert the details of a specific subscription into another language:

  1. Go to Administration and select Subscriptions.
  2. Find the subscription you want to translate.
  3. On the left, you will see the option Select Language. Click on it and choose the language you want to translate the subscription into.
  4. Adjust the content of the subscription in the chosen language.

 

Step 3: Don't forget to click Save

When you have translated the content of the subscription, click Save to record the changes. This will make the translated version of the subscription available on your website.

 

(Optional) Translate specific text lines within a subscription

Do you only want to translate certain text lines within a subscription? This is also possible in SiteCMS. Follow the steps below to translate specific sentences within a subscription:

  1. Open the subscription and select the text line you want to translate.
  2. On the right side of the text box, choose the desired language.
  3. Adjust the text line and click Save to save the translation.
