AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), is developed by, among others, Google and is focused on loading speed for mobile users. AMP ensures that content is displayed with minimal loading time. AMP makes a copy of the webpage, removing all unnecessary information from the source code. This allows the webpage to load much faster. The technology is based on AMP HTML: an open-source framework for creating lightweight pages.
